Problem You keep seeing the following error message appear: “Windows cannot find ‘C:\Windows\System32\taskmgr.exe’. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again.” Solution Open a Command Prompt as Admin. Type the following into the window and press Enter: sfc /scannow Wait for the process to complete and the file should be restored.
