Reset Safari Toolbar to Default settings

Mac

  1. Quit Safari.
  2. Go to your User Library folder.
  3. Go to the Preferences folder.
  4. Delete the “com.apple.Safari.plist” file.

Windows

  1. Quit Safari.
  2. Click the Start button (Windows XP users should then click Run).
  3. Type %appdata% and press Enter.
  4. Open the Apple Computer folder.
  5. Open the Preferences folder.
  6. Delete the “com.apple.Safari.plist” file.

Now, the toolbars should have reset to their defaults when you open Safari.
